Trick or Treat: Bring Back an Old Idea
We old-time coin collectors are always trying to spark a numismatic interest in the younger generation. Well, here’s an idea: instead of passing out just candy, pass out one or two U.S. or foreign coins to those little “beggars” that come knocking on your door.
The young trick-or-treater will be surprised when they later go searching deep into their bucket for their favorite piece of candy and find a coin or two. Hopefully, they will see the coin as something odd and want to learn more about it. What do you know? A new coin collector may be born!
